While work continues on the inside, there’s still a lot to do outside with the catwalks and other accessories like the fuel tanks and snow melters.
The structural fiberglass grating and railing material for the catwalks was provided by Norm Klapper at PEC (Process Equipment Corporation). Norm has worked on other projects in Antarctica, so he was a perfect resource for making sure that we have assemblies that can hold up to the harsh conditions.
